When unrolling your new rug, you may notice some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners. These imperfections will naturally flatten within 2-3 weeks as you start using your new rug. Here are some tips to help expedite the flattening process:

1. Back Rolling: Roll the carpet out, then roll it back up with the backside facing up. Leave it rolled up in reverse for a day or two until it flattens out.
2. Heavy Objects: Place a piece of heavy furniture or objects on the affected areas for a day or two until the rug flattens out. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and place heavy objects on those areas in the opposite direction.
3. Heat: As a last resort, place the rug on a cleared concrete surface or driveway during sunny conditions. Allow the rug to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours, adjusting the time as needed.
4. Blow Dryer: If optimal sunlight is not available, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to heat up the creases. Maintain a distance of 7-12 inches and move side to side on a medium setting to avoid melting the backing material.
