If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and apply heavy objects on the affected areas in the opposite direction. - Heat: Use the heat technique as a last resort only. Place the rug on a cleared concrete area like a driveway or sidewalk during dry sunny conditions. Allow the rug to soak up the sun's heat for up to 2 hours, but prolong if necessary. - Blow Dryer: If optimal sunlight is not accessible, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer on affected areas to heat up the creases. Hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug in a side-to-side motion on a medium setting.
